OPINION

Nothing says stupid like the media asking a Mexican import for his reckonings on the coalition negotiations – but here we are. What on earth would El Woko Loco, Ricardo Menéndez March, know about what is going on inside the negotiations?

Green MP Ricardo Menéndez March: ego is keeping the government from forming

“I think it says a lot that the thing that is keeping the government from forming is the ego of the people who are vying for the deputy prime minister,” he said of NZ First leader Winston Peters and ACT Party leader David Seymour, as he landed in Wellington on Wednesday.

“I think anyone who has worked with either of them should not be surprised that the thing that is keeping government from forming is both of them scrapping to see who gets a deputy prime minister decision.”

Stuff

No surprises: it is Stuff.

What this tells you is that all parties negotiating are keeping very quiet. There are no leaks, no whispers and no conversations in shadowy corners.

The Media Party have no idea what is going on, so now they are just making stuff up, interviewing their keyboards, or worse, asking Green lunatics what their ‘reckons’ are.

If Ricardo Menéndez March knows what is going on then something has gone awry. It hasn’t, so it is just idle speculation from an idle list MP.

The Media Party really are the pits.

They are showing us daily that they have an agenda and it isn’t what voters want. They should take a good hard look at themselves and start doing their jobs – or die.
