As if everyone didn’t know already, Big Tech as good as declared they were for Joe Biden when the moved collectively to suppress the breaking news story at the NY Post of Biden family misfeasance involving Ukraine.

And as it turns out from the trove of emails published by the NY Post, Joe Biden has lied and lied and lied about his connections with his dodgy son Hunter.

Twitter moved swiftly to silence anyone, including the Trump Campaign official feed which was taken offline by the powers that be at Twitter, who dares to even link to the NY Post story. There is a good chance that this article will be banned by both Facebook and Twitter.

It was a brazen and partisan move by Twitter and Facebook, just 19 days out from the US Election.

In a stunningly brazen move, Twitter has locked the Trump campaign out of its official Twitter account less than three weeks before Election Day on November 3. While Twitter unlocked the campaign after about two hours, the move is extremely noteworthy. Twitter locked the Trump campaign after moving against a New York Post article about Hunter Biden. Republican senators have announced they will subpoena Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey over similar moves.

“Twitter has suspended ?[The Trump campaign Twitter account]? for posting a video calling Joe Biden a liar who has been ripping off our country for years, as it relates to the [New York Post] article. 19 days out from the election,” Mike Hahn, a social media staffer for the campaign, announced on Twitter.

Once the Trump campaign got themselves back online they immediately tweeted an attack ad:

The video concerns a blockbuster story The New York Post published on Wednesday. The story involved a “smoking gun” email allegedly proving that then-Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter introduced the VP to an executive at the notoriously corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma — before Joe Biden pressured the Ukrainian president to fire a prosecutor looking into Burisma. This evidence appears to contradict Joe Biden’s repeated claims that he never discussed business deals with Hunter during his vice presidency.

Facebook announced that it was reducing the article’s distribution, even before any fact-check. Twitter also locked people out of their accounts when they tried to share the article, even cracking down on White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

The Democrats made much of the fake Russia conspiracy, but what is happening now is worse than even that. Big Tech is actively involving itself in the political process, much in the same way Newshub and Newsroom have done in our elections.

What makes the Big Tech moves worse is that they are hiding behind what is known as Section 230 to absolve themselves of any blame. Their actions however have now backfired:

On Thursday, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai announced that the commission would issue a new rule clarifying Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act after Facebook and Twitter took unprecedented steps to hide a New York Post story about Hunter Biden. President Donald Trump called for a repeal of Section 230, which grants internet companies limited protection from liability for third-party content. Members of Congress and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas have questioned the current interpretation of Section 230.

Pai rightly noted that it remains unclear exactly how Section 230 applies to Facebook and Twitter, especially in regards to the New York Post story.

“As elected officials consider whether to change the law, the question remains: What does Section 230 currently mean?” the FCC chairman asked. “Many advance an overly broad interpretation that in some cases shields social media companies from consumer protection laws in a way that has no basis in the text of Section 230.”

“The Commission’s General Counsel has informed me that the FCC has the legal authority to interpret Section 230,” Pai explained. “Consistent with this advice I intend to move forward with a rulemaking to clarify its meaning.”

“Throughout my tenure at the Federal Communications Commission, I have favored regulatory parity, transparency, and free expression. Social media companies have a First Amendment right to free speech. But they do not have a First Amendment right to special immunity denied to other media outlets, such as newspapers and broadcasters,” the FCC chairman argued.

It is patently obvious now that both Facebook and Twitter are not acting as merely “carriers” of a message, they are in fact altering and skewing messages and are hostile in the extreme to conservative voices.

Their statutory protection needs to be removed. They aren’t merely carriers, they are every bit as partisan as the mainstream media.

The media are also complicit in hushing up the Biden story as they are players on the political pitch themselves. Not unlike our media here, whose partisan hackery was unabashed and overt.

Now is the time for conservative voices to join together, not just in the US but here too, to create well funded platforms to counter the slanted platforms the media hand social media companies have provided.

An outrage has been committed by Twitter and Facebook. Know now that their platforms are hostile to your views.
