The Headline is “Army officer and midwife stand for election”.
The caption for the photograph is “The Labour Party has selected local NZ Army officer Dan Rosewarne to contest Waimakariri at the 2020 general election.”
So far so good, but the picture is not of the army officer. It’s Sarah Pallett who is a midwifery lecturer and one of two candidates selected, the other being the army officer. This is sloppier than my old spaniel’s jowls.
