Hey, Europe: how’s that “Net Zero” working out for you?

Europe has, after all, been a world leader in Climate Cult virtue-signalling. From Germany’s much-vaunted “Energiewende” to Britain’s closure of all of its coal-fired power stations and setting world record for going without coal-fired power, it’s been all windmills and sunshine from Vienna to Gibraltar — hasn’t it?

Anyway, what would they want all that nasty, greenhouse gas-emitting coal for? After all, with temperatures around the globe soaring to never-before-recorded heights, they certainly won’t need heating. London is just a few years away from having a Mediterranean climate.

If Moscow is “Mediterannean”, that is.

According to a report by The Guardian, the United Kingdom has seen temperatures plummet, with the country’s weather agencies warning of serious ice and snow throughout the country, while similar warnings have also been issued in neighbouring Ireland.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg writes that experts are forecasting temperatures to drop to as low as -23 degrees Celsius (-9.4 degrees Fahrenheit) in Scandinavia, with sub-zero temperatures also being expected for Germany.

Still, at least they got all that plentiful, reliable renewable energy to keep their heaters running, haven’t they??

With huge numbers across the continent already struggling under increased heating, electricity and food costs, the decrease in temperature is likely to require them to either turn up their thermostats at the expense of their wallets or risk freezing in order to stay fed.

Many parents will likely be forced to skip meals in order to keep their children warm, with over half of households in the United Kingdom reported to have already cut back on the number of meals they eat per day.

Some medical experts have even warned that Britain will see children die as a result of inadequately heated homes, which they warn will likely result in many developing serious respiratory issues.

The drop is also extremely bad news for Germany, which has already been warned that it could completely run out of gas by the end of next February should extremely cold temperatures interfere with its aim to cut gas consumption by one-fifth compared to last year.

The EU elite is good at recycling, anyway.

Recycling the same slogans they used to bamboozle us into three years of lockdowns and mandates.

French president Emmanuel Macron [ordered] the general public to engage in energy “sobriety” befitting a period marking what he termed the “end of abundance“, while [European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen] has called on people to “flatten the curve” with “mandatory energy rationing”.

Remember the last time we “flattened the curve”?

At least this time, they’ll still be able to go to work, because the factories are still humming, right?

Senior players within the heavy industry sectors are warning that the European Union is now in danger of “permanent deindustrialisation” if action is not taken to alleviate pressure on businesses from the ongoing energy crisis.

The warning comes after a survey in the United Kingdom revealed that up to six in ten factories currently operating in the country could be forced to close over surging costs, with many having seen their energy bills rise by 100 per cent or more.

At least they saved the planet from climate change.

Didn’t they?
