Our police have lost their cojones. Well more to the point, the police leadership have.

Consider what has happened this year, first under the very woke Mike Bush and now with the completely wet Andrew Coster in charge.

It started with the illegal iwi roadblocks in April and May during the level 4 and level 3 shutdowns. They were completely illogical, unlawful and should not have been allowed. The boys in blue just let them carry on.

Luckily us whiteys were such nice types that we didn’t bother to fight or argue with the likes of Hone’s Henchmen up north. Police HQ talked a load of obfuscating bollocks about the roadblocks but in the end, did nothing.

Then came the succession of tangi during level 4, level 3 and even now in level 2. In the eyes and the letter of the of the law gatherings of more than 50, at most, for these gatherings were not allowed. But the Mongrel Mob don’t care. They made a point of burying their dearly departed with full noise and full numbers, quite often scaring the bejesus out of neighbours.

The police watched on. Once they even said that if people felt they were in danger they should ring 111!

The obvious question is why?

But it’s not just “uppity Maori” who get away with it.

This week a bunch of busybodies have decided that some trees in the middle of Avondale cannot be cut down. That’s even though they are on private property and the property owners have consent to cut them down so they can build some new houses – which in these times of housing shortages are quite important.

So the tree huggers have protested and trespassed and stopped the trees being cut down. They have broken the law. The police showed up. They watched. They didn’t remove the protesters, the lawbreakers.

The legal owners of the property cannot go about their lawful business because police won’t do their job.

And there’s the two marches down Queen Street. One by the BLMers and one by JLR and Billy TK’s mates. Both marches were against the mass gathering rules which applied at the time.

Police showed up and watched.

The game is up.

I want a police force that will do their job. If their job is law enforcement, I want them to enforce the law.
