Juliet Moses has written a powerful piece for The Post, setting the 7 October pogrom in its essential historical context.

Dozens of international law experts have signed an unequivocal document stating: Hamas has committed crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Te Pati Maori’s Debbie Ngarewa-Packer made statements in her 20 October interview on RadioNZ relating to the Israel-Hamas conflict, that were factually incorrect and deeply irresponsible. Dr Sheree Trotter responded.

NZ’s Holocaust and Antisemitism Foundation issued strongly worded Media Releases this week condemning the prevalent moral equivalence regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, which it views as antisemitic, and Auckland Museum’s apology for lighting up their building in Israel’s colours.

In this latest war, Hamas and other terror groups have fired more than 6,500 rockets indiscriminately into Israel – both before, during, and after they breached the security fence and slaughtered at least 1,400 Israelis and kidnapped 200 – those affected were men, women, children, infants, and the elderly.

The terror from Hamas and other groups has been ongoing for years. A group called Rockets into Roses (https://rocketsintoroses.com/) have turned the shrapnel that has landed in Israeli towns over the years into jewellery and other handmade items. It is a way of turning terror into beauty and hope for the future.

All proceeds from this sale will go toward a charity to support Israel as they combat evil. We all wish for the eradication of Hamas and freedom for the Palestinians who have been oppressed by them for a long time; and peace and security for Israel.
