Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

“Roadrunner” is a song written by Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland. It was first released by Jr. Walker and The All Stars on their 1965 album “Shotgun”.

It has been covered by many acts including:

Humble Pie on their 1972 album “Smokin”.

Fleetwood Mac on their 1973 album “Penguin”.

Steppenwolf on their 1976  album “Skullduggery”.

Peter Frampton on his 1977 album “I’m In You”.

Dr Feelgood on the 1994 live album “Down At The Doctors”.
