As we remember those who have sacrificed their lives for this country, so that we may live in freedom, let us also take time to reflect on where our country has been, where it is now and where it seems to be heading.

Lest we forget those who fought for our freedom.
Lest we forget what they fought for.
Lest we forget the millions of civilians that also died and are dying because of war.

Let us also not forget the recent events here in New Zealand:

Lest we forget those who lost their jobs.
Lest we forget those who lost their homes.

Lest we forget those who lost their families.

Lest we forget those who lost their health.
Lest we forget those who lost their friends.

Lest we forget those who lost their community.

Lest we forget those who lost their lives.
Lest we forget those who lost their faith.
Lest we forget those who lost everything.

It seems that our politicians and the ‘mainstream’ media would like us all to forget what happened. How many are suffering today in silence because they don’t know where to turn for help?

Is this the “freedom” our brave heroes fought for?

I believe that there will be a day of judgement, and that justice will come in the end, but I also believe in forgiveness and redemption. I have hope in Jesus Christ who laid down His life as a ransom for us all, and rose from the dead on the third day. I do not seek revenge, I do not want others to suffer but to realise what they have done so that they may repent before it is too late.

We must continue to speak out the truth, but let us do it in love. Those who hate the truth will be seen for who they really are in the end. If you have a story to share, please do so, whether it is about war, mandates or injuries from an experimental injection… LEST WE FORGET!
