Women’s rights campaigner Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull’s Let Women Speak world tour has attracted notoriety for all the wrong reasons, following the appearance of twenty neo-Nazis at the Melbourne rally on 18 March 2023. The twenty Nazis who attended the protest, carrying a banner saying “Destroy Pedo Freaks,” controversially performed a fascist salute on the steps of Victoria’s State Parliament, inciting all their opponents to behave just like them.

The National Socialist Network had no involvement in the organisation of the Let Women Speak rally, with Keen-Minshull expressing her annoyance that a small group of men wearing balaclavas had managed to overshadow the message of the rally. The presence of Nazis and their behaviour has also provoked an explosion of political repression that wouldn’t be out of place in the Third Reich.

Liberal State MLC (Member of Legislative Council – Upper House) Moira Deeming faces a vote by the parliamentary Liberal party to expel her from their parliamentary rooms for being involved in organising the rally. Despite her Maori heritage, Deeming stands accused of harbouring white supremacist sympathies. Victorian Liberal Leader John Pesutto has put his credibility on the line by announcing on Sunday that he would seek her expulsion from the caucus. That vote is expected to take place on Monday next week.

I was unaware of the Let Women Speak tour until news of the neo-Nazi presence at the Melbourne rally. However, previous rallies in Australia would have been calm and cordial affairs were it not for the presence of rabid ‘anti-fascists’, socialists, trans radical activists and other identitarian extremists. Unfortunately, it requires a line of police to hold back the screaming, inarticulate social justice banshees to give a speech denying that women have penises and men have vaginas.

The ideology of National Socialism and white supremacy is abhorrent. Its activists should be called out, face social sanction by right-minded people and be publicly exposed. Freedom of speech and association is self-regulating. It allows people to voice their beliefs and be rejected by those who oppose those beliefs without any hate speech laws. It is easy to oppose Nazis; they are small in number while the hysterical harpies of neo-Marxist politics increasingly occupy academia, media, human resources departments and the political classes. Gutless, unprincipled politicians best each other with the toughest anti-Nazi rhetoric to win the daily news cycle while throwing individual liberty under a steamroller.

Labor-led Victoria had already passed legislation banning the Nazi swastika late last year. Following last weekend’s incident, that legislation will be used to add amendments banning the use of the Nazi salute and then could be used to ban additional ‘white supremacist’ symbols and ‘salutes’ such as the A-OK hand sign. Nobody identifies the obvious slippery slope toward fascism being formed by cheap political opportunism. The Tasmanian Liberal Government announced plans to add the Nazi salute to legislation currently being debated this week which would ban Nazi symbols. New South Wales banned the display of a Nazi symbol in public in August last year. Not to be outdone, Queensland intends to add tattoos to its existing law banning the display of Nazi symbols. Has anyone considered the potential depravity required to enforce a law like that properly? We already had a taste during the Covid 19 mask mandates, and women in Iran and Afghanistan are familiar with the consequences of failing to conceal body parts in public.

The world’s first openly gay politician was Ernst Röhm who sat as a Nazi Party Deputy in the Reichstag as well as leading the paramilitary wing of the party, the Stürmabteilung. This may be a coincidence but ideologically, National Socialism and neo-Marxist LGBT activists are quite similar. Both groups fight a battle of collectivism and identity politics; the only difference is the collective and identity. In the 20th century, National Socialism started a war that led to 55 million deaths, while Stalinist and Maoist Communism killed 100 million people.

The trans-activists have adopted Nazi tactics through the use of counter-protesting and violence against their opponents (colloquially called ‘direct action’). Footage of the Let Women Speak rally shows that while the neo-Nazis saluted and verbally abused the leftists, the trans-activists frequently infiltrated the group of women’s rights activists. One person tried and failed to throw a substance at a speaker, while another ripped the microphone from a speaker’s hands before being pulled away by police.

Economically, National Socialism is a socialist ideology. The economic policies of the Third Reich, including rent freezes, price controls, high government spending with large deficits and massive government intervention in the economy, would not be out of place amongst state-dependent LGBT radicals. The reason why Nazism is traditionally considered to be a right-wing philosophy is due to its nationalism and racism. However, those are collectivist ideals and belong firmly amongst the left.

The radical trans movement has adopted and spread theories on sexuality and gender that have no relation to science or truth. The invention of preferred-pronouns and creation of over 70 gender identities would be laughable were it not for the violent response one could receive for refusing to participate in such idiocy. This deranged insistence that others participate in and accept gender fluid theories is as scientific as the quackery of racial theories in Nazi Germany. Like those racial theories of the 1930s, primary school children are being indoctrinated with the gender theories of today.

This weekend,  Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull will be in Auckland and Wellington for the New Zealand leg of her world tour. In 2004, the Greens were a party that believed so strongly in freedom of speech that they lobbied for Holocaust-denier David Irving to be permitted to enter the country. In 2023, gay Green MP Ricardo Menendez March unsuccessfully demanded Keen-Minshull be prevented from entering New Zealand because she poses a risk to “the wellbeing of rainbow communities”. If you didn’t know Menendez March was a Green MP, you wouldn’t be able to tell his ideological desire to close our borders to people on the basis of their opinion from that of a Nazi.

Crying “Nazi” in Australia is sufficient to destroy the political liberties of all to target the opinions of a handful. It is driven by the demands of a growing minority of far-left LGBT who wield sufficient social power that openly opposing them can destroy your livelihood. While neo-Nazis should be opposed at every opportunity, it is the radical trans activists that hold real political power. Their numbers are greater, their ideological zeal is stronger and they are proving a greater threat to liberty than a handful of Nazis could ever again be.
