By now, virtually everyone has seen or heard about the release of January 6, 2021, videos on the riot in the Capital in Washington D.C., purported to be an insurrection. Tucker Carlson was the one who had his producers go through a plethora of videos which were kept hidden until the Republicans won the House in the recent mid-term election.
If you haven’t seen his show, here is the clip.
Carlson has the most highly rated show in the cable TV news and opinion format. He has also been at the forefront of exposing the lies and nefarious forces at work in America, something real journalists used to do. Unfortunately, they are a rarity today.
The release of the January 6 videos debunks the narrative of an “insurrection” and puts Carlson’s neck on the line. Look at some of the people who have spoken out against him:
Mitch McConnell, Republican, Senate Minority Leader
Chuck Schumer, Democrat, Senate Majority Leader
Mitt Romney, Republican, ex-Presidential Candidate
There are, of course, many others. Schumer called Carlson’s release “shameful” and demanded that Carlson be removed from Fox. Really? Actually, all these people who wanted to prevent video releases are shameful. The videos would have exonerated many now languishing in jail for merely trespassing.
So many lies are being promulgated in today’s America that if you dare to tell the truth, the powers that be will try to destroy you. What was Tucker’s crime? He releases video clips showing people, for the most part walking around––at the invitation of Capital police officers––in a building which belongs to the people. While some smashed windows and vandalised parts of the building, the reality is that there was no one killed except for Ashley Babbit, who was shot in the neck. A couple of others died from being assaulted by police in a nearby tunnel. There were no weapons carried by the “insurrectionists”.
The sad irony is that the police officer who shot Ashley Babbit wasn’t provoked. She was a diminutive woman who was climbing through a window. She had no weapon, yet the officer shot and killed her, and no charges were filed against him, with no disciplinary action. Yet people who were non-violent and who trespassed or were seen outside the capital building are now in jail. It’s a tragic indictment of the American justice system.
So what are the forces stacked against Carlson trying to hide? It’s pretty obvious. If most Americans know what is happening, the house of cards will come crashing down. The deep state and its allies, which now include many Republicans, are determined to do almost anything to destroy people like Carlson.
My concern is for Carlson’s safety. The leftists in America will egg on any radical group. Remember when the same Chuck Schumer told the Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh, “You won’t know what hit you!” and “You have released the whirlwind and will pay the price.” Imagine a member of the U.S. government threatening a Supreme Court Judge.
It’s a disgrace, and this man has the gall to call out Tucker Carlson?
These people are dangerous. They practice the art of projection, doing what they accuse their targets of doing. Politicians like Schumer are the real insurrectionists. I hope Carlson has bodyguards protecting him and his family.
