“Bird Dog” is a song written by Boudleaux Bryant and first recorded by The Everly Brothers on a 1958 single.

It has been covered by several acts including:

Carl Perkins on his 1986 album “The Man & The Legend”.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts on their 1988 album “Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth”.
