What can you tell me about this photo?
Yesterday’s view was taken from Somerville Rd (alongside Somerville Park), Somerville, East Auckland. This is the eastern border of urban Auckland.
Looking east, Mangemangeroa Reserve is in the foreground, running down the hill from the road to the Mangemangeroa Estuary. Broomfields & Clifton peninsulas are mid picture, primarily large lifestyle blocks. In the distant horizon (left to right) is Formosa Golf course, Maraetai and Whitford forests, and the Whitford Quarry on the right.
