The scapegoating and blaming of the ‘others‘ continues and this time from Health Minister Andrew Little who is keen to shift the blame from the Government to the unvaccinated and DHBs.

It is sinister how he is stirring up anger and hatred against the unvaccinated in particular by blaming them for a hypothetical future where more unvaccinated people than vaccinated people will need treatment in hospital.

Health Minister Andrew Little says large numbers of unvaccinated people getting Covid-19 will put pressure on our health system, leading to planned surgeries being cut.

Little addressed concerns that unvaccinated people would begin to clog the country’s hospitals, forcing hospitals to cancel planned procedures.

[…] It means people who have planned care, planned surgeries, they get bumped out of the system and hospitals have to reprioritise,”

The health system needed to look after Covid patients and people who had planned procedures for people who were “often in excruciating pain”.

Remember how Hitler scapegoated the Jews for everything that was wrong in Germany? He turned the vast majority of the country against them but he didn’t do it overnight. Our government and its media propaganda wing is repetitively conditioning the NZ population to blame the unvaccinated for everything that is wrong in their lives.

People are angry and worn down, losing their jobs and their businesses and Vaxholes like Andrew Little keep pointing at the unvaccinated and telling them the reason all these bad things are happening to them is because of these dirty, lazy, stupid, selfish “anti-vaxxers”.

He and others like him are stirring up hatred against a minority in society.

It is wrong and it is evil because if it continues people are going to become violent. The two classes of people in society created by Jacinda Ardern are already breaking up families, friends and workmates.
