Day 11 Tuesday: Wedding Plans
We had FaceTime again for hours (this daily journal is getting boring.) Tyler* mainly and corrections of the most beautiful Order of Service for a wedding I had ever seen. It was full of the most lovely blessings, including Iraqi ones.
It was a beautiful day with the sun out all the time and a lovely breeze when we were outside walking. Fixing up for flowers for tomorrow (January 13th. 48 yrs of married bliss!) with Tyler* and Inmate 356 cross-examining me all the time to find out what we are up to!
We watched more Netflix, this time ‘The Queen’s Gambit.’
Day 12: COVID Test Day Plus It’s Our 48TH Wedding Anniversary
48th Wedding anniversary!
Tyler* tried to bring an orchid in for Inmate 356 without her knowing. What a nosey parker she is! However, we managed to sneak it in and surprise her.
We had the 3rd test and it was very thorough! Got me sneezing afterwards. I thought it was coming out of the back of my head!
A dear relation of Inmate 356’s drops off champagne (‘Mumm’s’ best, not fizzy wine!) and smoked salmon, and 2 champagne glasses! Inmate 356 even said she would be sad to leave here (It is amazing the effect of champagne).
We heard that Dubai and UAE are no longer on the UK “corridor”, so we will have to isolate for 10/7 when we get home. Ugh. What about picking up the dog?
