OPINION

One thing I’ve wondered about is what the “T” is doing in LGBT. “Lesbian”, “Gay” and “Bisexual” refer to sexual orientation, who you prefer to sleep with. “Transgender” has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Further, someone who is transgender can be gay, lesbian or bisexual.

“So what?” you ask.

It’s no secret that there is no love lost between lesbians and trans men. Here’s a trick you can play on a (woke) guy who is straight and believes a man who has a nip and tuck is a real woman: ask him if he would sleep with a tranny. If he’s honest, he will say no. Ask a lesbian and she’ll give you the same answer. So it’s no wonder that lesbians regard men pretending to be women with disdain. Couple this with the fact that trans men are openly hostile towards lesbians and feminists who adamantly disagree that trans men are real women.

Kindness.

So what the “T” is doing in LGBT, I do not know.

Trans activists like to play a game of bait and switch. The word ‘sex’ can mean two things, depending on context. It can mean the act itself or it can mean whether you have meat and two veg between your legs or a map of Tasmania. Even trans activists agree with this. The word ‘gender’ is more precise. It means what you have between your legs and that’s that.

However trans activists argue that gender is ‘fluid’ and someone can be a ‘woman’ because that’s the gender they feel. Fine, I don’t agree, but for the sake of argument I’m willing to accept. But then they turn around and say trans men are real ‘women’ because sex (as in the second meaning) is the same as gender. Say what?

So how otherwise intelligent women can regard a man with his tackle chopped off and pumped full of oestrogen as a real woman is something I will never understand.

Time to get the “T” out.
