Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

“Heart Full Of  Soul” is a song written by Graham Gouldman and first recorded by The Yardbirds as a 1965 single and also on the 1965 album “Having a Rave Up with The Yardbirds!”.

It has been covered by several acts including:

Gary Lewis and The Playboys on their 1966 album “She’s Just My Style”.

Ghost Dance as a 1986 single.

Chris Isaak on his self titled 1986 album.

L.A. Guns on their 1999 album “Greatest Hits and Black Beauties”.

Dokken on the 2002 album “Long Way Home”.

Rush on their 2004 album “Feedback”.
