In June 2020, Auckland General Practitioner Dr Sandhya Ramanathan produced a video on her cell phone that went ‘viral’.
In this video, Dr Ramanathan was offering advice on what to do should we become infected with the ‘deadly’ SARS-CoV-2 virus.
On August 9, 2021, Dr Ramanathan, was awarded a Community Service Medal by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners for this video presentation.
