Maybe the Scots are too used to men wearing dresses, or maybe it’s the fact that they’re ruled by literal national socialists: whatever the reason, there’s some strange business afoot, north of the wall. Not the least of which is the official assertion that rapists with penises are, in fact, women.
Police have been criticised for saying they will record rapes by offenders with male genitalia as being committed by a woman if the attacker “identifies as a female”.
Police Scotland said that they would log rapes as being carried out by a woman if the accused person insists, even if they have not legally changed gender.
The move, reported by The Scottish Sun on Sunday, comes ahead of proposed new laws to make it easier for people to self-identify as whichever sex they want, which are opposed by some feminist groups. The Scottish government wants to remove medical checks for those seeking a gender recognition certificate and shorten the time people have to live as their new gender before it is legally recognised.
This is much the same as laws forced through in Tasmania, when the Births, Deaths and Marriages Act was forcibly altered in order to accommodate gay marriage. Of course, the bearded ladies insisted that there was no threat to women inherent in such laws.
Lived experience suggests otherwise.
In correspondence seen by the newspaper Kenny MacAskill, the former Scottish justice secretary, asked Police Scotland how it would deal with recording rapes after the new laws take effect. Gary Ritchie, assistant chief constable, set out scenarios where a rapist could be recorded as a woman.
They included “where a person born male obtains a full gender recognition certificate and then commits rape” and “where a person born male but who identifies as a female and does not have a full GRC . . . commits rape”. The Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 defines rape as nonconsensual penetration with a penis, so it cannot be committed by someone without male genitalia.

Never mind such patent absurdity. In fact, we could be excused for thinking that the absurdity is the whole point.
As Theodore Dalrymple has written, “When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.”
But the more immediate danger of such absurdity is, once again, to women: female prisoners who are forced to share accommodation with rapists with intact and obviously too-well-functioning male genitalia. Sure: turn rapists loose in women’s prisons — what could possibly go wrong.
As JK Rowling pointed out, transgenders might more easily convince the rest of us that they’re not a threat to women by, well, not threatening women. Rowling knows too well just how threatening to women transgenders are: she’s received countless death threats, and been doxxed by tranny nutters. All for the crime of asserting that only women are, in fact, women.
