A girl is raped at a school. The school covers the crime up. The offender goes on to commit a similar crime at another school. When the first victim’s father tried to speak at a school board meeting, he was arrested and dragged out, cuffed and bloody. Protesting parents are denounced by senior education bureaucrats as “domestic terrorists”.
In case you’ve missed out on what is happening in Loudoun County, Virginia — and, if you rely on the mainstream media, then you almost certainly will have — prepare yourself for a mind-boggling microcosm of the Cultural Revolution convulsing America under the Biden administration.
On June 22, Scott Smith was arrested at a Loudoun County, Virginia, school board meeting, a meeting that was ultimately deemed an “unlawful assembly” after many attendees vocally opposed a policy on transgender students.
What people did not know is that weeks prior on May 28, Smith says, a boy allegedly wearing a skirt entered a girls’ bathroom at nearby Stone Bridge High School, where he sexually assaulted Smith’s ninth-grade daughter.
Juvenile records are sealed, but Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy – one count of anal sodomy and one count of forcible fellatio – related to an incident that day at that school.
Remember when the left insisted that there was no way, no how, that predators would exploit “transgender” bathroom policies? Of course, it’s happened, again and again. So, the left just lie about it.
When Scott Smith’s daughter was brutally raped, Stone Bridge High School just told him that she had been “assaulted”. The school said it was investigating the incident “in-house”. Police were only called because school administrators accused the father of the raped girl of “making a scene”. Despite police finally conducting a proper investigation and “Forcible Sodomy [and] Sexual Battery” charges being laid, the school principal emailed the community, stating that there “was no threat to the safety of the student body”. Counselling was offered: to people offended by Scott Smith’s scene-making.
The offender is likely to be convicted on downgraded “felony aggravated sexual battery” charges.
Smith had not opposed the downgrade, saying about the boy, “What if he made one mistake?”
But what if it wasn’t a “mistake” — and it happened again?
On October 6, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, a 15-year-old was charged with sexual battery and abduction after police said he forced a girl into an empty classroom, held her against her will, and touched her inappropriately.
Once again, officials are concealing the identity of the attacker. But a whistleblower has informed The Daily Wire that he has the same name as the boy who is charged with raping Scott Smith’s daughter.
And still, the official denial and cover-up continue.
On June 22, the school board held a meeting where the focus of discussion was a proposal expanding special protections to transgender students.
When Scott Smith and his wife, along with other parents, voiced their concern that sexual predators would exploit such “protections”, the bureaucrats lied.
From the dais, school board member Beth Barts painted such concerns as paranoia and prejudice. “Our students do not need to be protected, and they are not in danger,” she said. “Do we have assaults in our bathrooms or locker rooms regularly?”
Superintendent Scott Ziegler replied: “To my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.”
Board chair Brenda Sheridan asked, “Have we had any issues involving transgender students in our bathrooms or locker rooms?”
Ziegler answered […] the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist.
And just like that, the “believe women” crowd stopped believing women. Meanwhile, two teenage girls are raped — one brutally — and the only person convicted, and shamed nationally by the mainstream media, is the father of one of the victims.
Even worse, the victims of the left’s insane delusions are succumbing to a hideous form of Stockholm Syndrome.
Though Smith’s daughter has been allegedly raped and separately beaten at school, the teen has adopted increasingly strong progressive views over the course of her tenure at LCPS.
“Where does she get these ideas? From school, obviously,” Jess said.
