Can you believe we’re halfway through 2021 already? The time since last year’s election has flown by, and I’m proud of the work the Labour team has done to make New Zealand a better place for all New Zealanders.

We’ve worked to keep New Zealanders safe from COVID-19 and secure our economic recovery. We’ve worked to lift children out of poverty, address the housing crisis, meet the climate change challenge, and work in partnership with Maori. All our initiatives, from the major changes to government support we announced in the Budget to our initiative to provide free period products in schools, are about making lasting, progressive change in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Last election, we rallied together under the banner of “let’s keep moving.” Governing is all about momentum, and these last few months show we can achieve great things with the momentum you’ve helped us to build.

We still need your support, so that our Party can keep making a difference. We’re proud to be a people-powered party. Everything we do is only possible because of your support. There are big challenges ahead as the party supports our MPs and Ministers through this term, and as we build toward the next election. Will you chip in to keep the momentum going?

There’s a lot we want to achieve over the next few years. We can and will keep going. But we can’t do it without you. Will you chip in to show that you’re with me?

I know it might seem too soon to start thinking about the next election. But we want to do everything we can to prepare for it. Early investments pay off. We are committed to our grassroots origins; it has shaped our party and it’s in the foundations of all that has grown. Will you chip in today so that we can keep going?

We’re not far off meeting our mid-year fundraising target, but we do just need your help to get there. Will you contribute, today, to help us meet our target and set ourselves up for the 2023 general election?
