What are we not being told about the sudden, unexplained death of health executive Pauline Hanna on 5 April 2021? The news media is reporting today (15 May) that police are talking to a masseuse visited by the husband of the deceased. They have also spoken to the barber used by husband Philip Polkinghorne.
More than a month on from the death of Hanna, the death is still being described as “unexplained”. Surely an autopsy would have established a cause of death. Was an autopsy held? If so, what did it reveal?
Typically the conducting of an autopsy delays any funeral, yet Hanna’s funeral was held 10 days after her death. A friend here in Victoria died in unexplained circumstances over a week ago and an autopsy is being conducted. There has still been no date set for a funeral.
The one big question mark over this whole event is that the original story in the New Zealand Herald stated that on the Easter Sunday, Hanna and Polkinghorne had visited a covid vaccination centre, where Hanna had received her covid vaccination. However by the next day, that piece of information had been removed from the story, with the explanation that the family did not want the death to be in any way associated with Hanna having received the vaccine.
We deserve to know whether in fact there was a link between the vaccination and Hanna’s death.
