For the better part of a year, the great and good of the global media-political elite have shrieked “CONSPIRACY THEORIST!” at anyone who dared suggest that the Wuhan virus originated in China’s biological weapons program. In fact, many have chimed in with Beijing’s propaganda lies that the virus didn’t come from China at all. So, it not just a “conspiracy theory”, it’s wicked “racism” for pointing the finger at China.
Except… it almost certainly did come from a Chinese biological warfare lab.
There is now strong evidence that the coronavirus was leaked from a Chinese biological weapons research laboratory, rather than developing in a livestock “wet market”, a senior US official said.
Matthew Pottinger, a deputy national security adviser, claimed in a Zoom call to politicians around the world that there was “a growing body of evidence that the lab is likely the most credible source of the virus”.
The evidence has always been there – it’s just that the media-political elite didn’t want to look.
It was back in April – nine months ago – that The BFD reported on the sleuthing of a YouTuber, which showed that Beijing was hurriedly covering up evidence of its bio-weapons research into coronaviruses in bats, including by “disappearing” researchers and removing incriminating job ads recruiting virologists, dating immediately prior to the emergence of the Wuhan virus.
He said intelligence showed that the virus had been leaked from the heavily guarded Wuhan Institute of Virology, 11 miles from the market.
He was speaking on the eve of a trip to China by a group of experts from the World Health Organisation to investigate the source of the coronavirus, which critics claim will be a whitewash.
“MPs around the world have a moral role to play in exposing the WHO investigation as a Potemkin exercise,” Mr Pottinger said.
Of course the WHO has no interest in exposing the truth. Even less than Beijing has. Because exposing the truth will expose their own complicity.
Late last year, foreign journalists were barred from visiting an abandoned copper mine in the southwest of the country, where the closest known relative of Sars-Cov-2 was discovered in 2013 by Chinese virologists and taken back to the Wuhan laboratory. A bat research team had samples taken on a recent visit to the mine confiscated.
Just like all the samples taken from the Wuhan wet market were destroyed and doctors and scientists imprisoned, if they opened their mouths.
It was back in July that The BFD reported on Dr Li-Meng Yan, a former top Chinese virologist now in hiding in the U.S., who openly stated that the Wuhan virus is a “biological weapon”.
The US is said to have been talking to a whistleblower from the Wuhan institute. Wuhan reported the first coronavirus cases in December 2019. Many of them were linked to a wet market, but the existence of a bio laboratory that works on coronaviruses in the city has fuelled speculation over a possible leak.
Leak? Or deliberate release?
Sure, sure, that’s just a conspiracy theory. Well, okay: maybe China didn’t deliberately engineer and release the coronavirus… but how would things have turned out any different, if they had?
One thing that’s not a conspiracy theory, though, is that China is lying and hiding something obviously big and damaging.
