The excellent independent journalist Tim Pool first started drawing attention last week to what the legacy media don’t want you to know: middle America is not on board with the riots, name-erasing and statue-toppling of the race-baiting left.
More importantly, middle America is fighting back.
Pool pointed to such incidents as in Ohio, where a BLM protest (in a town with just 13 black residents) was surrounded by 700 counter-protesters armed with rifles, handguns and baseball bats. The counter-protesters included bikers and “Back the Blue” organisations. 250 motorcyclists occupied the protest area, forcing out the BLM demonstrators.
In another incident, in Chicago’s Little Italy district, local residents stood guard in front of a statue of Christopher Columbus, which had been defaced. In an encounter with a small group of BLM activists, a retired Cook County judge was filmed swinging a punch at an activist he claims had spat on him.
An armed group also gathered to protect a Columbus statue in Philadelphia.
Such clashes are erupting across America as middle Americans are apparently growing fed up with the lawlessness tolerated, if not encouraged, by local and state Democrat governments.
Armed residents in St. Louis, Missouri, reportedly guarded their property on Sunday evening as demonstrators marched through their neighborhood.
Columbia Missourian journalist Daniel Shular recorded a video of the couple and posted in on Twitter, writing: “A couple has come out of their house and is pointing guns at protesters in their neighborhood.”
It appeared as though the demonstrator’s [sic] desired final destination was the mayor’s house, where they repeatedly called on her to resign.
For the Cancel Culture left, addicted to publicly pillorying anyone and everyone who supposedly ‘offends’ them, their motivation for attacking the St. Louis mayor are spectactularly hypocritical.
The calls for St. Louis Democrat Mayor Lyda Krewson to resign began on Saturday after a news conference where she read during a Facebook Live video the names and addresses of residents who were calling to defund the police.
Krewson later issued an apology for her actions, saying, “Tonight, I would like to apologize for identifying individuals who presented letters to me at City Hall as I was answering a routine question during one of my updates earlier today. While this is public information, I did not intend to cause distress or harm to anyone. The post has been removed.”
Doxxing is all fun and games until it’s done to them.
Unlike Minneapolis, Seattle and other Democrat-run cities and states where rioters have been given free rein, Oklahoma is Republican-run. Oklahoma is laying down the law.
Authorities in Oklahoma announced late last week that they were charging alleged rioters with terrorism and assault, saying that they would not put up with “this lawlessness here.”
Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater reportedly made the decision to get tough on the rioters in an effort to curb any future potential riots[…]
Prater defended the charges on Sunday, saying, “When you act like a terrorist, you will be treated like a terrorist.”
As with the wave of American leftist terrorism in the late 1960s and 70s, middle America is not about to be terrorised into submission.
