BFD Political corner: Election 2020 is a series that features political speeches, political ads and political campaigns on Social media from a range of different political parties in the lead up to the New Zealand election.

Today we have the Sustainable New Zealand Party:

This party that is known by some as “Murray Mccully’s astroturf party” may be stillborn as already it has had some serious problems, hit with resignations and allegations of questionable conduct.

Surprisingly given the party’s lack of traction in the Media its leader Vernon Tava (while thanking me for the offer to publish guest posts from him or members of his team in full and un-edited) never took me up on my generous offer. Perhaps it was because they cannot write about party policy when none yet exists?

Below is the most recent video produced by the party. It is from November last year.

Please send us links to any speeches, social media campaigns, funny memes and any other political content promoted by NZ political parties for inclusion in this series. They don’t have to be good, they just need to be what is being used by a political party to fight this election.

I am confident that our viewers will critique the content’s effectiveness in the comments.
