It is every driver’s worst nightmare, driving along minding your own business only to be confronted by an out of control truck crossing the centre line.
Luckily the driver only suffered a few glass shards from the broken side window and an airbag impact. It could have been much worse.
The accident occurred on a corner on the Kaipara Coast Highway, SH16, just outside of Kaukapakapa.
