I’m from South Africa. Half of my family (father, mother, uncle, aunt, cousin and her babies) were involved in a rural attack. My father and uncle were beaten nearly to death; my mother, aunt and cousin, nearly raped. My cousin’s baby was barely one and he had a 9mm pistol shoved in his face!

Fortunately for my family, the attackers were spooked and ran off before finishing what they started. My family got lucky and survived. It’s an odd thing to say when my dad had a broken jaw, broken teeth and broken ribs. That night, after seeing what they did to my father, my husband and I decided to come to New Zealand to give our children a safe, secure future.

I have never been interested in politics; it seemed like too much fuss and bother. That changed last year (it feels like ages ago) when I saw on the news that the South African government had decided to go after white farmers and their land.

Government sanctioned land grabs, just like Zimbabwe. It finally happened as we knew it would. Finally, we thought, the world will have to pay attention to what is happening in SA, the farm murders and violence.
The incompetence, corruption and greed of the ANC would be exposed!

I thought Jacinda Ardern would take a strong stand against it, maybe allowing white farmers refugee status? They are hard-working people, after all. I thought the media would finally turn their gaze to South Africa and the plight of farmers and the corruption of the ANC. I was sorely disappointed and rudely awakened.

They did not care. I took my red pill and fell into the rabbit hole.
Google made it difficult to find media articles that actually spoke out against it. Some spoke of it, some said they deserved it, none spoke against it. Then on page 3 or 4, I found Daily Caller, Drudge Report, Breitbart, New York Post, Zero Hedge and finally a local one, Whaleoil! I read through many articles and I read the comments. I learned a great deal in a short amount of time. Youtube introduced me to Sargon, Styxhexenhammer666, Gad Saad, Jordan Peterson, Jericho Green and many more.

Because I had no interest in politics and only had a superficial knowledge of anything political I used to be a lefty. I voted for Jacinda (I will never be able to express how sorry I am for doing that. It really felt like I woke up from The Matrix).

I believed what the media told me to believe. Journalists would never lie! (My oh my, if only I knew then what I know now. Hindsight is 20/20)

I donated to Greenpeace on a monthly basis to help save whatever animals they are saving somewhere. I was such a good person! (Now I use that money to subscribe to Whaleoil, hahahaha!)

I drive a Toyota Prius Hybrid because I am a good person, climate change is bad and I had to reduce my carbon footprint. (I do save a lot on fuel, so I still drive that hybrid). Lithium battery or fossil fuel, their carbon footprint is exactly the same. Climate always changes; as George Carlin said, “The planet’ll shake us off like a bad case of fleas. The planet will be here for a long, long, LONG time after we’re gone, and it will heal itself, it will cleanse itself, ’cause that’s what it does. It’s a self-correcting system.”

Only the minority of Muslims are terrorists. All other inconvenient facts regarding terrorism should be ignored. (I read Ayaan Hirsh Ali and Robert Spencer and I watch Gad Saad on YouTube… enough said)

I used to be an atheist; Christianity did bad things. (I’m an agnostic; Dr Jordan Peterson has interesting things to say)

TRUMP IS GOING TO END THE WORLD WITH HIS RED BUTTON!!! Orange man bad! (I have grown very fond of the politically incorrect orange man. He’s making America great again.)

In conclusion, there is hope, the red pill is very effective and I still haven’t reached the end of the rabbit hole.
