Remember when suspecting that Covid was engineered in a lab and accidentally leaked meant that you were a conspiracy theory cultist? Mind you the same people calling you a “cultist” were doing stuff like this:

As it happens, their beloved Dr Fauci is accused of being neck-deep in the alleged origins of the Covid virus and its outbreak from a Chinese lab.

More questions are being raised about Dr Anthony Fauci‘s ties to the Covid lab leak theory after the release of a tranche of new emails.

The former White House advisor, 83, was hit with a series of new allegations this week including that he secretly conspired with the CIA to squash debate about the origins of the virus.

Leaked documents also showed that Dr Fauci’s top aide intentionally tried to hide his discussions about the virus’s genesis by using his personal email.

And now new messages show Dr Fauci was engaged in some form of ‘damage control’ at the time his department was being probed about funding to the Chinese laboratory feared to have started the pandemic.

Recall that, back in May 2021, Fauci categorically denied “fund[ing] gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology”. His National Institute of Health (NIH) “has not ever and does not now” fund such research at that lab.

Just like Bill Clinton “did not have sexual relations with that woman”.

Richard Ebright, board of governors professor of chemistry and chemical biology at Rutgers University and laboratory director at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology, calls Fauci “untruthful”. Multiple sections of NIH grant proposals and grant progress reports, Ebright says, “make it clear that the grants funded gain-of-function research of concern in Wuhan”.

Fauci also oversaw the distribution of funding to Wuhan through a catspaw, the so-called EcoHealth Alliance, headed by Dr Peter Dazsak.

The April 2020 email, sent between Dr Fauci’s aide and a third-party group who distributed government grants to China, suggests they were concerned about backlash coming from the probe […]

In newly-published emails between President Peter Daszak and NIAID senior scientific adviser Dr David Morens, who worked closely with Dr Anthony Fauci, the two discussed the government’s guidelines for conducting research on viruses called the Strategic Plan for Covid-19 Research.

By this time, questions were starting to be raised about what Fauci knew about the origins of the pandemic, and what he might have to hide.

Dr Morens wrote to Daszak: ‘Even while remaining silent you should be clearly documenting these things for potential future use, in your own defense, and for history.

‘Tony [Fauci] is now fully aware I think and is I am told involved in some sort of damage control, but again I am not in the loop.’

But the spooks were.

This is around the same time Dr Fauci is reported to have taken clandestine trips to CIA headquarters in Virginia off the record to meet with Covid investigators and, according to Senate Republicans, ‘influence’ the Covid origins investigation.

Peter Daszak is still insisting that there’s nothing to see, here.

But this was the same guy, remember, appointed to the first WHO investigative team sent to China, where he went to great lengths to downplay possible lab origins. Including the key fact that China had hurriedly erased a massive database of virus information.

The same Peter Daszak whose fingerprints are as thick over the origins of Covid as Fauci’s.
