Some of the long form interviews on Reality Check Radio have been outstanding.
I have to say that one of my favourites so far has got to be Chantelle Baker interviewing the polymath Thierry Baudet while she was in Holland.
Leader and founder of Forum for Democracy International, Mr. Baudet is a Dutch politician, academic and author. He’s also the FVD’s parliamentary leader. He disdains globalism with an icy passion and understands well that globalism as a movement has only one major task – to destroy the sovereign state of each nation. This destruction is now a feature of most independent sovereign nations.
Mr. Baudet references Vladimir Putin in terms too glowing for my liking, because he thinks Putin essentially is “fighting the French Revolution” – in other words, the elite globalist impulse, dating back to the time of Napoleon with France’s outright contempt for Russia (then later England’s after WWI and America’s after WWII). Putin has recently struck a terrible blow at the “front” of the globalist heartland, Ukraine, and he hopes Russia wins and NATO is broken up, which could result in a cold war.
Mr. Baudet’s historical knowledge is impressively articulated and he has his head around many of the largest issues of our time.
?However, Mr. Baudet, in this interview, is profoundly wrong about Trump. Trump wasn’t some “monkey” installed by the deep state into the Oval office – that’s Biden and should have been Hillary Clinton if the globalists had gotten their way. Trump took on the deep state and shockingly won, leaving the globalists to wring their hands and then turn full medieval in every way open to them including mass Covid-deceit, pantomime impeachments, false-flag insurrections, espionage, sedition and election fraud.
Europeans often just don’t get America, or the enormity of the disturbance in the field that was Trump, it doesn’t hit their passions in the same way as Eurasian disturbances do, understandably since that’s their own back yard. As older, once-higher cultures, their respect for American culture is low and they’ve been done with its perceived imperialism for some time.
But I’d go so far as to say that Mr. Baudet was as excited about Putin’s response to NATO expansion as many of us were about Donald Trump’s first win of the Whitehouse (we know he really did it twice). These unexpected rips in the globalist-controlled fabric tear at everything. Mr. Baudet loves Putin for apparently waging a war against the globalists.
But here’s the thing, seeing the West so insipidly weak, it is Putin who now offers the extended hand of allegiance to China and holds them closer in politics, money and war. China are the globalists. They back every significant Western entity from the WHO, to the UN to the WEF. Their goal after all is a globe with Chinese characteristics – and after Covid lockdown insanity, digital IDs, social media censorship and mask-fascism, how would we know any different than if they’d already achieved it?
