What is it about joining the Branch Covidians that seems to so effortlessly bring out the inner fascist in so many people? A recent BFD guest post dubbed 2021 “The Year of the New Normal Fascist”. But dictators, no matter how authoritarian, would be nothing more than shouting, dribbling buffoons if they didn’t have their armies of enablers grasping for their own petty shred of power.

So, for every “Dictator Dan” and “Princess Jacinda”, for every egomaniac public health bureaucrat or “scientist” media tart, there’s a thousand petty, nasty, heel-clicking Karens, bullies and snitches.

And their despotic meanness knows no depth too low to be plumbed.

“I can’t believe these things are actually happening in our country,” New York artist, Scott Lobaido, lashes out at Make-A-Wish Foundation after they refuse his friend’s 4-year-old sick and dying son.

Rocco, the terminally ill 4-year-old boy from Staten Island NY, made a wish to go to Mickey’s House and meet Mickey Mouse in Disney World in Orlando, Florida, with his family but the Make-A-Wish Foundation decided to refuse the child because he was not vaccinated.

A friend of the father, Scott Lobaido, was outraged when he heard the use and used TikTok to reach out to his 65K followers: “I got a text — a message — from a friend of mine here on Staten Island; his 4-year-old kid — his ill 4-year-old kid — was refused by the Make-A-Wish Foundation for his wish because he’s not vaccinated … at 4 years old!”

Luckily for poor little Rocco, not everyone is a towering arsehole.

Social media influencer ChrisFix, who has over 1.8M followers on TikTok and 8.5 subscribers on YouTube, offered to help make the kids dream come true. In addition, Scott LoBaido organised a fundraiser for the terminally ill 4-year-old child at Joyce’s Tavern in Staten Island.

But if you thought that Make-A-Wish might be shamed at being exposed as contemptible Covidian shitheads, think again.

Despite social media outrage, Make-A-Wish Foundation doubled down on their stance citing that the sick and dying child would be a danger to others. However, Wigs & Wishes stepped up to the plate and promised to send the boy and his whole family first-class to Disney World in Orlando, FL.

Wigs & Wishes By Martino Cartier is a network of salon owners, stylists, and beauty industry professionals united by a common goal: to deliver free wigs to heroic women battling cancer, as well as to grant wishes to children battling paediatric cancer […]

Wigs & Wishes have stepped in and have given the boy and his family and first-class ticket to Orlando, FL, with an all expenses paid small holiday at the amusement park.

Meanwhile, Make-A-Wish is adamantly sticking to their policy of refusing wishes involving air travel and large gatherings, accepting only vaccinated children and family members. The only other exception is for children with an “end-of-life prognosis” — in other words, literally dying.

Aw, isn’t that magnanimous of them?
