Travel to Russell on the 7th to see and support Mike King this coming Wednesday.
His event at the Russell Boating Club is booked out. His event at the Nauti Penguin is filling well too.
At the Nauti Penguin Mike will speak from 3pm. The show is free (with Koha) – I am so confident you will love it (you’ll laugh and cry – sometimes at the same time) that I will give you your money back if you don’t.
It is a chance for anyone from Whangarei north to hear Mike speak on well-being. It is also a chance to show support for a NZ Legend battling a huge bureaucracy for the good of many thousands of young people. If you are not aware 654 people took their own lives in NZ in the year ended June 2020.
$1.9billion has been “announced” by government to help – it has resulted in 5 extra beds.
