Who can argue with the statement “black lives matter”? It’s such a statement of the obvious it leaves many bewildered why it needs to be said. When I first heard it I wondered if those using it cared about other colours, and why they hadn’t included everyone.

I do. The greatest systemic injustice perpetrated in the West these past 50 years has not been racism, but ageism, the dehumanisation and human rights violations of living humans not yet old enough to have been born. But my quoteable position is, “Every human life is sacred and worth defending at every stage.” No exclusions or ommissions – everyone.

Yet one can quickly get a glimpse of the true character of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) political movement when one responds affirmingly, “Yes. Indeed, all lives matter.” Dare to make such an equally true and more inclusive statement of the obvious and one risks being labelled a racist.

Watch how one highly respected Australian Christian thinker recently twisted self-evident truth into thinly-veiled hate in summing up his thoughts in a Facebook post 3 weeks ago.

“All lives matter.” This is a true statement. It is also an insulting and misleading statement in our current context, for it functions as a retort to the specific grievances of black people. It conveys to them: The hardships and mistreatment you have experienced do not deserve our focus. And so the wholly true statement, “All lives matter”, ends up promoting a demeaning falsehood.

The liberal/progressive’s faulty premise is that the only motivation one can have in including all colours of people in statements of value – such as God makes – is actually flippant dismissal of the grievances of black people specifically. That is to say, if you say “All lives matter” in response to the slogan “Black lives matter”… you’re a racist.

Of course, to reach such a conclusion the liberal has to impute motives and make prejudicial judgements which are not evidenced and mostly not there at all.

What is in plenteous evidence is the evil fruit of the BLM political agenda, if only the lefty liberals cared to “Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly,” as Jesus taught us to. Violence, mayhem, arson, indiscriminate destruction and multiplied murders are the fruit growing on the branches of the BLM tree. That should give discerning people a strong hint as to the nature of the root of the BLM tree, which should be the first caution against taking the group’s name at face value.

James Morrow writes,

BLM leaders openly admit their Marxist training and outlook, something which makes all the woke corporate donations to the organisation look like a fulfilment of Lenin’s supposed prophecy that “the capitalists will sell us the rope with which to hang them”.

Their program promises to “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure”.

On a recent episode of Outsiders, former FBI counter-terrorism director Terry Turchie told me that much of the BLM program is lifted from the Black Panther Party and Weather Underground movements of the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The Black Panther Party, Turchie explained, “was a Marxist, Maoist-Leninist organisation and that came from Huey Newton, one of the co-founders, who said we’re standing for nothing more than the total transformation of the United States government”, and which aimed “to take those situations where there is a tinderbox and light the country on fire.”

Sound familiar?

BLM protesters gunned down an eight year old black girl in Atlanta a few days ago. They were protesting the existence of police outside the Wendy’s restuarant which the same protesters had burned to the ground where Rayshard Brooks had been fatally shot by police after he assaulted them with a tazer, which Atlanta law deems a deadly weapon.

When the tragic loss of a black life doesn’t suit the BLM political agenda, it apparently doesn’t matter at all. There has been no outrage, no arson, no riots, not even a “peaceful protest” for this little, innocent black life. It takes no imagination to be certain if a white cop had been holding the gun which sprayed the car she was in with bullets, there would be hell to pay.

Even the BBC is distancing themselves from BLM

It’s easier to ignore the information on BlackLivesMatter.com than to admit they were wrong, so a number of high-profile organisations are now claiming BLM has been “hijacked”. No: Lenin’s useful idiots are starting to realise they were duped into supporting an evil agenda under false pretences. Sheeple, as always, were hijacked. Conservatives have just been proven right about BLM from the beginning.

As it becomes bleedingly-obvious even to ideological ostriches that the BLM agenda is anti-family, anti-Christian, anti-capitalism, anti-law enforcement, anti-American/British/Australian and of course, anti-Israel, the left-tilted BBC has banned its presenters from wearing BLM badges or logos due to concern of BLM’s radical political agenda. It’s fair to note this hasn’t yet bothered the ABC in Australia.

It remains incumbent upon right-thinking people to scrutinise the flavour of the day in political protests and movements, to not be entranced by ear-tickling self-descriptions, and to openly advocate for the end of any injustice anywhere without imagining one injustice everywhere. The price of “at any cost” crusades is always truth first, real justice next and finally even our freedom.
