I covered Act’s Alternative budget last week because I had no reason to believe any other party could do better. Labour’s recovery budget was everything I said it would be; fifty billion borrowed handouts as vague as their writing was rushed. Perhaps Grant Robertson did need four Associate Finance Ministers after all (David Clark’s removal left Robertson with Shane Jones, James Shaw and David Parker). Jones can’t tell one credit . . .
