Who did it better?

Many songs get covered or re-interpreted, the covers often being more successful than the original.

Here are some cover versions of one song along with the original, let us know in the comments which is your favourite, or if you don’t like any of them.

“C’mon Everybody” is a song written by Jerry Cape Heart and Eddie Cochran and released by Eddie Cochran in 1958.

It has been covered by many acts including:

UFO included their version on their 1970 debut album “UFO 1”.

Humble Pie put their spin on it on their 1972 album “Smoking”.

Alvin Stardust did his take on his 1975 album “Rock With Alvin”.

The Sex Pistols on their soundtrack album “The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle”.

Led Zeppelin on their live 2003 DVD release “Led Zeppelin DVD” of a 1970 recording at the Royal Albert hall.

Just a bloke getting on with life, seemingly becoming less tolerant, more grumpy and politically incorrect as I go.
