When corporations, Boomers, and politicians try to glom onto meme culture, the results are almost invariably embarrassing.

Yes, it’s satire… but only just. The BFD.

But Republican congressman Paul Gosar’s latest video, co-opting anime like Attack on Titan and Jo-jo’s Bizarre Adventure is of the so-cringe-it’s-meta-cool variety. Naturally, too, the left-media are clutching their pearls in a staggering display of hypocrisy.

“On its own, this would be cringe. The levels of hysterical, hypocritical screeching its generating from the left makes it hilariously based.” The BFD,

The White House on Tuesday condemned the Republican congressman Paul Gosar for tweeting a video which depicted him striking the New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with a sword and appearing to threaten Joe Biden.

A video showing Marjorie Taylor Greene harassing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s staff at her congressional office in 2019 was released by CNN.

On the other hand, when illegal immigration activists follow senator Kristen Sinema into the toilet and shout slogans over the cubicle door… President Joe Biden shrugs it off as “just part of the process”.

But that’s just the beginning of the duplicity.

“There is no place for any type of violence or that type of language in the political system,” the principal deputy White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, told reporters at a daily briefing. “It should not be happening, and we should be condemning it.”

The House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, said “threats of violence against members of Congress and the president of the United States must not be tolerated” and called on the House Republican leader, Kevin McCarthy, to “join in condemning this horrific video and call on the ethics committee and law enforcement to investigate”.

Hey, remember these, Nancy?

Given how many brain cells she’s destroyed over the year, probably not. The BFD.

Why — isn’t that you, Nancy, talking about punching people? Isn’t that your president boasting about beating people up behind the gym?

As one YouTuber commented, “On its own, this would be cringe. The levels of hysterical, hypocritical screeching its generating from the left makes it hilariously based”.

Of course, not all Democrat supporters have had a humour bypass. Several commented along the lines of: “I’m a democrat but even I have to admit this is funny as fuck. What a time to be alive,” “See I’m not a republican, but this was funny as hell,” and, “I don’t even like Goser but this was hilarious”.

Ocasio-Cortez listed other instances of threatening behavior from Republicans in Congress.

Hm, like that time she was being hunted down by Capitol rioters, when she wasn’t even there?

That one was almost as good as the time she posed for a teary photo-op in front of “caged children”… when the compound was in fact completely empty.

But what this confected furore shows above all is just how blatantly the media-left are rigging the game against the right. Don’t even bother being polite anymore, because they’ll only make up lies about you, anyway.

Meanwhile, the Great Meme War II is off to a spectacular start. In another front, Republicans are holding a rally in the town of Brandon, Vermont.

The meme that just keeps on giving. The BFD.
