The 2020 election could come down to a referendum on how Americans view Donald Trump and Joe Biden’s ability to manage the recovery from this global pandemic.
If that is the case, Democrats are in deep trouble.
And that’s because Joe Biden told a truth about the coronavirus that could cost him the election.
During a livestream with Latino supporters, Joe Biden let the cat out of the bag on what Democrats really see the coronavirus pandemic as – a prime opportunity to impose socialism on America.
[…]On April 22, Biden declared how excited people should be to use the outbreak to remake America in the Left’s image.
“I believe, because, sort of, the blinders have been taken off, because of this COVID crisis, I think people are realizing, ‘My Lord. Look at what is possible. Look at the institutional changes we can make – without us becoming a ‘socialist country,’ or any of that malarkey – that we can make to provide the opportunities to change the institutional drawbacks . . .’ from education, all the way through to all the other things we talked about,” Biden stated.
In other words, socialism. Maybe socialism-lite, but still socialism.
President Trump wants to rebuild America’s economy and restore the normal way of life that Americans cherished before the pandemic struck.
Joe Biden admitted he sees the crisis as a political opportunity to remake America into something the public will not recognize.
Never waste a good crisis.
It amazes me that in a nation that practically invented the notion of separation of powers that people there, mostly young and at college admittedly, can be so enamoured with a political/economic system that has been shown time and time again not to work. Thank God that most Americans have more sense.
Over here it’s wait and see. I have no doubt that if things get desperate enough the government will start looking at how it can take over the means of production. And if that happens we’ll really be in big trouble.
