An African American Lion who identifies as a female human named Lucy has come out of nowhere to storm the World Women’s Wrestling Competition held this year at Yosemite National Park in California.

New challenger Lucy made waves in the world of women’s wrestling when she arrived, due to her ability to crush bones and her weight of more than 400 Kilos.

Her competition name is Kofi and she has been described by wrestling competitors as an athlete with the slamming power of a truck and the ferocity of a wild beast.

“She is is unlike any other wrestler that I have ever come up againstā€, said wrestler Alice Wilson from her hospital bed in the emergency department after a single round against her determined opponent.

Kofi is what is known in sporting circles as a Trans-woman, which is a lion who has chosen to identify as a human female, after being born an African American Lion. Not long after making the change Kofi decided to embark upon a new career as a champion female pro-wrestler.

Kofi’s recent opponent, wrestler Alice Wilson grimaced in pain as she gave her interview. (Doctors were attempting to relocate both her arms back into their sockets at the time)

“I respect Kofi as an opponent. Her preferred pronouns are she/her and human and I accept that. I did have hopes of winning the World Wrestling title as I have been training and competing for 7 years now and was at the high of my physical prowess at 23 but sadly 47-year-old newcomer Kofi was the better wrestler on the day despite no training and having been retired from Circus work for 10 years now.”

Kofi’s owner/manager Johnny Sharp is thrilled with her win but disappointed about the lack of sportsmanship shown by other wrestlers.

“I am disgusted at the lack of tolerance and the transphobia shown by the rest of the Women’s wrestling competitors. Kofi earned the championship belt and just because a previous champion is now lying in the emergency ward hovering between life and death is no reason to refuse to compete against my lion um I mean against Kofi”

Kofi is expected to remain the champion until she retires, as the Federation is now unable to find any women willing to go up against such a powerful opponent.

Just before she went into surgery to have her shattered pelvis pinned wrestler Susan Reed showed her support for newcomer Kofi, saying that it was wonderful to see Kofi embracing her true identity and succeeding at her chosen sport.
