The BFD Affiliate Programs pays commission for sales of memberships generated through your affiliate links for membership packages, including all levels from Basic through to Platinum membership plans.

To apply to become an affiliate, you’ll need to setup an account and follow the instructions.

Why Become an Affiliate?

  1. Passive recurring income.
    By investing an initial amount of time into a campaign, you will see continuous returns on that time as consumers sign up to memberships to The BFD .
    You would receive money for utilising and marketing to your email lists or contacts. This could just be as simple as a logo with a subscribe button inserted into each email you send out. Or even a concerted campaign.
  2. No member support.
    The BFD will have to deal with their consumers and ensure they are satisfied with what they have purchased.
    Thanks to the affiliate marketing structure, you’ll never have to be concerned with customer support or customer satisfaction. The entire job of the affiliate marketer is to link the seller with the consumer. The seller deals with any consumer complaints after
    you receive your commission from the sale.
  3. Performance-Based rewards.
    Affiliate marketing is purely based on your performance. You’ll get from it what you put into it. Memberships of The BFD start at $5 per month. There are $10, $25, $49, and
    $166 per month subscriptions. You would receive commission on each and every membership that comes from your links.
  4. Lifetime Commissions
    When a customer clicks on a referral URL and signs up to a
    membership at The BFD website, they’re instantly permanently linked to your affiliate account . If the member returns to say upgrade their membership then you will receive increased commission, even if they visit The BFD directly. A member
    can only be linked to one affiliate at a time.
    If the customer makes any other guest purchase (logged out) their email address is used to look up the linked affiliate. If they are logged in their BFD user ID is used.
    Additionally, if the member ever uses a different email address while purchasing (logged in) or changes their email address from their BFD profile, the new email address is stored with your account. This ensures that if the customer ever makes a purchase
    while logged out, you will still receive commission on the sale.

Once your application is received, you will receive further instructions via email.

Please review our Affiliate Guidelines and Terms of Service before applying.

The following things are reviewed before application approval:

1. Account status with The BFD
2. Websites listed in your affiliate application
3. Name searches for coupon sites
4. Previous correspondence (if applicable)

Affiliate applications are rejected for the following reasons:

1. You run or operate a coupon site
2. Your website is not active or URL directs to a site not developed by you
3. Your website contains explicit content

Payouts

The BFD Affiliate Programs, which include TheBFD.co.nz and all its associated membership plans, pay commission for sales generated through your affiliate links (see Terms of Service A).

The BFD operates a tiered commission rate:
? 0 – 100 referrals = 10% commission rate
? 101 – 500 referrals = 15% commission rate
? 500 – 1000 referrals = 20% commission rate
? 1001+ referrals = 25% commission rate

Payouts will be sent at the end of each month, for the previous month’s following sales. (Please note this is subject to change).

Guidelines

As a business person, you know that your reputation is one of your most important assets. We feel the same way. By applying to become an affiliate you are agreeing to abide by the following guidelines, which will not only protect our reputation and standing in the community, but yours as well.

Please note: You may NOT use your own affiliate links to purchase memberships. Doing so will terminate your affiliate account(s) and you will forfeit any potential earnings.

No Spamming. Surely we don’t need to say anything more about this, do we?

We verify all sales prior to approval: A sale is not complete until after we have verified that it was a valid sale without reversal or a hold by PayPal, Stripe, or the credit card issuer. We reserve the right to delay payment until this has been confirmed. Sales at the end of the month may be delayed until the next month for this reason.

In order for a sale to be credited to your account, the purchaser MUST use your affiliate link on a cookie-enabled computer. Purchases will not be assigned or reassigned to affiliates once the purchase is completed. Please do not ask for us to make an exception for you. Instead, view some of the tips on how to ensure your contacts are using your affiliate links.

We do not allow internal sales: An account must be ordered with billing information that does not match the affiliate’s information. If you are signing up an account for a client, please email us regarding this ASAP.
