Regarding NZ’s gun confiscation, a senior police officer described semi-automatics as “evil” guns. In fact these “evil” guns were safely locked up in law-abiding owners’ gun safes and were no threat to fellow Kiwis. But it cost over a $100 million of taxpayers’ money to compensate the lawful owners of all these guns.
