…there is no evidence that the COVID-19 vaccine is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage during pregnancy.
Of course there is no evidence if you don’t look for it, and even better when your safety advice relies on two early, very small studies done at the beginning of the vaccine rollout, the first one lasting a scant two months.
Evidence that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is safe during pregnancy has been growing. At the same time, it has become clearer that COVID-19 infection during pregnancy is associated with an increased risk of developing severe disease (link). This report reviews the data from two studies (link, link), that evaluate the risk of miscarriage in people who received a COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy. Both studies show that the rate of miscarriage is similar for vaccinated and unvaccinated pregnant people, and that there is no evidence that the COVID-19 vaccine is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage during pregnancy.

Both studies were reported over one year ago, on 13 September 2021 the first from US data collected between December 2020 and February 2021 and released on 21 April 2021.
The second is a pre-print (not a peer-reviewed) study of spontaneous abortion collated by the CDC between December 2020 and July 2021 using data voluntarily submitted by 2,456 vaccinated pregnant women.
When the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted emergency use for the mRNA vaccines – Pfizer-BioNTech on 10 December 2020, Moderna on 17 December 2020 and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) on 27 February 2021 – there was no publicly available data to support the claim that the mRNA vaccine is safe for the foetus.
These two studies are still on the NZ Health department’s website to support the government’s claim that vaccination is safe during pregnancy despite neither study providing long-term safety data.
In August 2021 a group of scientists and medical researchers used the US Freedom of Information Act to force the release of hundreds of thousands of documents submitted by Pfizer to the FDA during the licencing process of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
The FDA granted Pfizer a licence to distribute the vaccine under emergency approval and responded by asking the judge to embargo Pfizer’s supporting documentation for 75 years until 2096. Why?
Why hide data supporting vaccine safety and efficacy? There really is only one reason isn’t there? The data does not support the Covid narrative of safe and effective and instead proves that Pfizer, the FDA, the CDC and our government lied and Pfizer tried to cover up the truth.
In January 2022 U.S. District Judge Mark T. Pittman, Northern District of Texas ordered Pfizer to immediately release 12,000 documents and 55,000 pages a month until all of the more than 300,000 pages of Pfizer data is made public.
It was way too late for the vaccinated. The mRNA vaccines were already well distributed under emergency use approval with plenty of fear-mongering to bury its experimental status. Informed consent trailed in the wake of achieving high vaccination rates.
Author and journalist Naomi Wolf is using around 3,500 volunteers to analyse Pfizer’s data downloads and she claims the FDA was well aware at the beginning of April 2021 of the horrifying rate of foetal death in vaccinated women during the early Pfizer trials.
An analysis of internal documents found 44% of the pregnant women who participated in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine trials suffered miscarriages.
The documents obtained by court order after the FDA tried to keep them hidden for 75 years showed that of the 50 pregnant women who took part, 22 lost their babies.
It’s a stretch for the NZ Labour Government to continue claiming vaccine safety during pregnancy when Pfizer’s early trial documents show a 44% spontaneous abortion rate compared to the expected spontaneous abortion rate of up to 25%.
Where are our Covid experts now – those who haven’t already resigned? Their heads are firmly in the sand with white flags protruding from their rear ends, hoping against hope to ward off the third Omicron wave with more ineffective masking and vaccinations.
Smart people will ignore the Covid experts and take a step back, waiting to discover what else Pfizer lied about as the trial data emerges. Stupidly, New Zealand refused to take advantage of a year-long grace period behind other highly vaccinated countries. Instead, we are still playing follow the leader.
