Ever heard of a Behavioural Insights Team? You should have by now. It was working you right throughout the Covid pandemic, and will be doing exactly the same when the next ’emergency’ begins – whatever it is they have in store for you.
Nudge units use advertising agencies but they work through serious news outlets as well. Ever bought two newspapers and found the same articles? On different pages perhaps, with different headlines – but the message is always the same? Ever listened to the radio news and the television news and had the feeling you were living in an echo chamber? That’s the old Nudge Unit working right there in the background.
The nudge team works subliminally. You thought you made up your mind to get the vaccine, didn’t you? Wrong. Your mind was made up for you by the Nudge Unit. You probably haven’t done anything of your own free will since you started watching television.
You only think you made up your mind to buy an electric car. You didn’t. Not only that, you bought exactly the type of electric car the Nudge Unit wanted you to buy. The same goes for practically every choice you have made in your life, including buying a smart phone. Smart phones are not cutesie toys. They are Nudge Unit watch dogs. Unlike the television and the radio, the smart phone answers back and argues with you. Those things can hack a NASA website and eventually, they will hack you.
Rather than question anything throughout the pandemic, the corporate-controlled media instead amplified the fear messaging coming from these Nudge Units. There they all are below – proud of what they do. Our very own Australia and Asia Pacific Behavioural Insights Team – the BIT people.

These are not honest people earning an honest living. These are people educated to undermine you as an individual, as a human being.
These people have studied what motivates, what depresses, what music to play, what colours to use, even the type of print font to use. They will appeal to your sense of fair play, to the snob in you, or to the sadist in you. They know just how and when to push your buttons without you having the slightest idea it is not you doing what you think you want to do.
To escape from their evil web you can do two things – disconnect your television and buy yourself a dumb phone. Life will change immediately I promise you. You will be lonely and all your friends will avoid you. You will sit at home on your own watching old movies and probably develop a drinking habit you can’t really afford. You will be sacked from your job because no one can contact you. They all think you are an oddball and a conspiracy theorist by now anyway.
But this is one thing you can be sure of and proud of. You have made a decision to do something the Nudge Unit had absolutely no part in.
