Chris Hipkins thinks that DJ ‘Omicron’ doesn’t need to be prosecuted because he has “already received punishment in the court of public opinion”.  So why does that not apply to people like Brian Tamaki or Steve Oliver who runs the Oliver MMA gym or the couple who went to Wanaka without covid?  Do they play on a different court of public opinion?

“During a press conference on Thursday, Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins said he was disappointed with the performer for not following the rules but he declined to say whether he should be prosecuted. The performer has already received a punishment of sorts in the court of public opinion, he suggested.”
