British and European elites spent four years sneering at Americans for electing Donald Trump. “He’s upsetting the established order!” they whined, apparently not realising that that was the whole point of Trump.

In case they’d forgotten what the established order really looked like, they’ve got it back in spades, under Joe Biden.

Biden is not just the Swamp Monster extraordinaire — a half-century Washington insider, a forerunner of today’s professional political class — but the perfect puppet for the Deep State. The only problem is that the Deep State is, if possible, even more demented than its puppet.

If American foreign policy under Biden’s old boss, Obama, was, in the words of Foreign Policy magazine, “a cluster-fuck”, well… America’s allies ain’t seen nothin’ yet. In the words of one British government eminence, “We have never seen such a shambles of incompetent administration, diplomatic incoherence, and complete military ineptitude as we have seen in these nine months”.

Suddenly, Trump is looking pretty good.

“We were startled by Trump, but he clearly knew what he was doing, whatever we or anyone else thought about it. This is just a disintegration of the authority of a great nation for no apparent reason.”

The British may have won their empire in a fit of absent-mindedness, but America is throwing away its global power in a fit of dementia.

Various well-informed British and Europeans told me that they found a variety of utterances by Joe Biden and his spokespeople grievously inappropriate or absurd. Most upsetting were Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ po-faced assurance that “the border is closed” while on the other half of the split-screen people were simultaneously wading or walking into the country illegally; climate czar John Kerry importuning the Chinese government to decelerate their pell-mell commissioning of new coal-fired power plants; Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s fatuous lamentation about the “lack of diversity” in the new Taliban government in Afghanistan; and White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s assertion that the administration “welcomed the competition” of Russia’s hypersonic nuclear-tipped missiles.

Biden is just the doddering, incontinent head on the festering boil of the American left. The Long March through the Institutions has been successful beyond the wildest dreams of the Comintern. Now, we’re seeing its lunatic fruit.

The green-left have used the climate bandwagon to manipulate the leading capitalist countries into willingly dismantling their own economies. The race-hustlers are promulgating open anti-white racism while pursuing policies that have led directly to a staggering rise in violent crime in the US (which, ironically, disproportionately affects black Americans).

At the same time that China is capitalising on the virus unleashed by its own bio-warfare scientists by openly preparing for war, the Democrats are, like Stalin on the eve of the Nazi invasion, subjecting the US military to a punishing purge under the guise of “diversity, equity, and inclusion”. Biden and the egregious chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley—who appears to have been stuffed into his over-decorated tunic have orchestrated the most astonishing humiliation of American power since Vietnam.

China, meanwhile, has, with its hypersonic missile demonstration, shown that the military might of totalitarian communist states is further ahead of the US than at any time since Sputnik humiliated and enraged Americans.

Milley and the rest of his over-promoted cabal were too busy politicizing their apolitical offices and confusing the ranks with their historical revisionism to assure the comprehensive defense of the United States […]

My knowledgeable British and European friends not only do not think America is back, they think it has gone mad.

American Greatness

The global elite wanted Trump gone. They’ve got what they wanted, in the worst possible way.
