Dear Editor

I am a low key, grey man type personality who prefers to stay out of any drama.  I am not an activist nor an agitator.  I am ex NZ Army a long time ago and as of last year, an ex Registered Nurse.

I prefer doing rather than talking, reality rather than ideology and have developed a strong aversion to the current woke nonsense enveloping our once great country.

I am increasingly alarmed at the tyranny the Ardern Government is forcing on New Zealanders and want to do something about it.

In the vax debate, I am pro-choice, pro informed consent and am vehemently opposed to coercion.  The Government are about to force vaccine passports on New Zealand and I believe the time has come to make a stand.

What I propose is a grassroots campaign against these passports by forcing people to make a conscious choice.  Instead of “going along to get along”, force people to consider their actions, is this their line in the sand, will they decide to accept the tyranny or push back?

If people do not download or request a passport then the system will not work.  The people could force the passport’s demise.

We know the passport is not about safety or health, it is simply to punish those who choose not to be vaccinated.  We need to remind people that other countries are not implementing these systems and there is no reason why NZ should continue down this divisive path.

Could we create a campaign on social media, flyers in neighbourhoods, messages on pavements, whatever works to reach everyone and make them realise they have a choice?

They can choose what type of country they want to live in. It should come from the people and not be associated with any groups that the left will denigrate and ridicule.

If you download the passport you are a sheep, if you refuse to participate in Ardern’s tyrannical passport system, you are a lion (credit to JP Sears).

I don’t have any influence, I don’t even have a Facebook account and I am very keen to stay under the radar, but I hate what is happening. This may be a crap idea and I may look silly for suggesting it at all, maybe New Zealander’s are just too brainwashed to consider their actions at this point but if there is resistance out there I am keen to be part of it.
