A seriously confused Tweet from a seriously confused Muslim. Someone needs to break the news to her that the Temple Mount and the Al Aqsa Compound are the same hill! It wasn’t just a Muslim sacred site that was attacked it was also a Christian and Jewish sacred site. This fact completely ruins the point she was trying to score off the tragedy.
The Temple Mount known to Muslims as the Haram esh-Sharif “the Noble Sanctuary”, or”the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem”) and the Al Aqsa Compound, is a hill located in the Old City of Jerusalem that for thousands of years has been venerated as a holy site in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike.
