Remember “two weeks to flatten the curve”? Eighteen months later, we’re still being locked down, travel-restricted, mandatorily-masked and spied upon.

Not even the large-scale roll-out of vaccines has done much to prise loose the claws of a panopticon state.

This, we are endlessly told, is the “new normal”.

In other words, if you think governments and bureaucrats are ever going to take their boots off our necks, that the pandemic is ever going to be over – you’re living in Fantasy-land.

At every step of the Wuhan plague, we’ve been reassured that just the next step – be it some arbitrary number of cases per day, or a vaccine – would be the key to restoring our freedoms.

Every time, the little Hitlers in labcoats have found a new excuse to prolong their unelected, absolute, arbitrary power.

We were solemnly assured that vaccines were the golden key to “getting things back to normal”.

Now, we see that that was just another lie.

White House senior medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday night on MSNBC that Americans who have been fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus should continue to avoid eating or drinking indoors.

MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan asked Fauci if it was OK to eat and drink in restaurants and bars.

“No, it is still not OK,” Fauci responded. He called infection levels and dynamics “really disturbingly high.”

This is the same guy who has decreed that Americans have to wear a mask… make that two masks… heck, wear three masks, you peasants.

And don’t think that just because you’ve been vaccinated, you can just do whatever you want.

He encouraged people to get vaccinated but warned Americans that they should not return to normal life even if they are fully vaccinated.
“If you’re not vaccinated please get vaccinated as soon as vaccine becomes available to you, and if you are vaccinated, please remember that you still have to be careful and not get involved in crowded situations, particularly indoors where people are not wearing masks,” Fauci added.

There’s always an excuse for prolonging the medical dictatorship, though.

Studies need to confirm whether people who are vaccinated can still get a “subclinical infection” and spread coronavirus to others before anyone can stop wearing masks, Fauci continued.

“Until we show definitively that a person who’s vaccinated does not get this subclinical infection and can spread to others, you should also continue to wear a mask for the time being.”

At which time, they’ll just conjure up another excuse for why you have to remain obedient, muzzled and locked down.

Welcome to the new normal.
