Joe Biden, current (acting) President of the United States, for the first time in the history of the USA, has publicly called for an economic boycott of a member State of the Union because the properly elected legislature of that state, following proper, constitutionally legal and appropriate democratic procedures, passed a law that he doesn’t like.
Clearly, from what he has publicly misstated about this law, he hasn’t even read it and knows nothing about it other than what the MSM and troublemaking rumours doing the rounds have been saying to anybody stupid enough to believe them.
The man is President of the United States and his action is reprehensible. Were it not for the fact that clearly, in his twilight years, he’s showing signs of being way more than just a little dim, one might wonder if he plans to keep a running list of all legislation passed by the states and calling for boycotts any time he disagrees?
Could it be that his ‘minders’ are actually doing that? Food for thought.
For the leftists who have spent the last four years calling Trump and anybody they disagree with Nazis, fascists and white supremacists, take a really good close look at what Biden has just done and square that off with all the abovementioned titles.
From the day Donald J Trump was elected president, a significant group of Americans, and indeed a significant group of people all over the world, decided that democracy and the US constitution were of less relevance than their personal dislike of the man who had just been democratically elected.
#Notmypresident trended all over Twitter. Facebook was full of the highly emotive and nonsensical assertions about what Trump was and was going to be.
For all his emotive language and his often clumsy presentation, Trump at least stood before the media and the world and said what he was thinking. He was direct, often annoying, even more often challenging but you could never be in any doubt about where he stood, particularly about putting America first.
Contrast that with the current (acting) US president who hid in a cellar for the entire election campaign, struggles to string two coherent sentences together, has had not one open press Q and A session since being elected, has signed more Executive Orders since his inauguration than any other president in history and now is challenging the legislature of one of his own states! Is there no cesspit Democrats are unwilling to climb into?
The state of Georgia has just passed a very reasoned and reasonable piece of legislation to tidy up some of the flaws in its election laws. Contrary to the much publicised nonsense in the MSM, duly repeated by the dopey old president, this is a sensible piece of legislation that has no negatives for the voting system. Read it before you believe the MSM and Democrat lies.
A note for the States of the Union: To avoid the president publicly calling for boycotts of your states, please ask the White House before changing legislation in case the president doesn’t like it.
Is this really what the world’s greatest free democracy has come to?
