Satire

The CEOs of Twitter & Facebook have expressed admiration and support for WeChat removing a message from Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison to the Chinese public.

WeChat is China’s giant social media corporation, comparable to Twitter and Facebook in the West where governments have not been able to achieve as much social harmony as the Chinese Communist Party through its censorship, intimidation, political persecution, ‘disappearances’, arrests, internment and execution of terrorists who believe in a liberal democracy.

A WeChat warning where the blocked post used to be said:

“Unable to view this content because it violates regulations” in English. Continuing in Mandarin:

“Involves the use of inciting, misleading, or contrary to objective facts, text, pictures, videos, etc.

Fabricate social hot spots, distort historical events, and confuse the public.”

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted:

Prime Minister Morrison’s message expressing pride in all Australians who pull on a uniform for Australia, their service and dedication to keeping Australians safe, as well as their loyalty to Australia and its values, was fundamental nationalism. There’s no other word for it.

We all know the National Socialist German Workers’ Party was just a nice name for Nazis, and so obviously when Scott Morrison expresses pride in his nation and military we are all reminded of Nazis. He is literally Hitler, making other members feel unsafe with his flagrant patriotism, which is a violation of any responsible social media publisher’s terms and conditions.

What’s more, imagine claiming that photo was false news without first having an independent leftist fact-checker write a baseless opinion piece to feign arm’s length! Who does the PM think he is — a Silicon Valley CEO?

Mark Zuckerberg added:

WeChat was completely within their rights and responsibilities to provide a safe online community for their comrades by removing the Australian Prime Minister’s racist remarks. At Facebook we are constantly apologising to those who identify as anything other than white, Christian, traditionally-married men. Mr. Morrison simply failing to apologise for being a member of the majority demographic in Australia was a clearly racist non-comment.

Claiming to have undiminished respect for and appreciation of your Chinese Australian community and friendship with the people of China isn’t enough, and is also a clear violation of WeChat’s regulations against contradicting CCP propaganda about Western nations.

We at Facebook admire and look up to WeChat’s marvellous support for the democratic party offering Communist totalitarianism in their nation. I can only hope one day my company can be as proficient as China’s social media giant in arbitrarily making up new regulations to reduce and remove content we personally find politically inconvenient.
