The latest update to our weekly polling on the cannabis referendum shows the No vote starting to pull away. What should be of concern to the Yes campaign is that those who are “Definitely No” have gone from 34% in June to 43% today.

In June it was 38% Yes and 47% No. Today it is 33% Yes and 54% No. People are making their minds up, and are heading for No.

The fact that the Prime Minister refuses to even state how she would vote implies she knows the referendum is likely to lose, and she wants to protect her brand from a losing cause.

Of course things may change in the next six (or more) weeks, but a big change is needed for Team Yes to win.
