Today’s dickhead of the day, Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King wants people to destroy statues of Jesus Christ if they depict him with European features. He claims that they are “a form of white supremacy”.
Statues and paintings of Jesus are created in the likeness of the people in the country where the work of art is created and displayed. There is Mexican Jesus, African Jesus and of course historically accurate Jewish Jesus as well as Jesus with blue eyes and blonde hair.
This dickhead is missing the whole point. Jesus is about the Christian message for all people. His is not a racially divisive image except to those who seek to divide us – like Shaun King.
Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down.
