It would appear that one of two things has happened in social media communities of late. Either we have become a society that is too soft and no longer able to stand up to the real calamities of life or the perceived pandemic threat has triggered an over the top or agenda biased controlling response in those policing these mediums.  Maybe it is a combination of both?

The picture in an ad being run on Facebook was called into question recently – as being over sensational or too graphic in its nature. The ad for a blog site currently raising questions about the current COVID-19 ‘response’ was rejected for the picture (not its content) apparently. The photo below was called into question because of its “graphic or over sensational nature.” This was the excuse given by the FB ‘Civil Emergency Police’ (CEP).

It would be interesting to see what the BFD community think of this? When seeking clarification for what criteria the ad had been banned for the photo below was used as an example of an over sensationalised image or one that is too graphic in nature. Really..?

The BFD

It would appear that we have indeed become a society that is no longer willing to face some of the hard realities of every day life if this is the case. Also that there are those in the administration of social media platforms who will use any excuse to manipulate and control society to their way of thinking. Shame on you Facebook!
